The Problem No Problem It is undeniable that all things happen to us humans. And we evaluate each event through different colored glasses, with the color we use as a filter that will determine our unique and particular reality of life. We can see the facts as dramatic problems, tremendous, catastrophic, intractable, or we see them as a learning opportunity, evolution and change. We can sit around with our black lens to expect that the problem is resolved thanks to some divine plan or we can replace them with to start looking at the world from another angle. We focus on what is wrong or bad or we have to reorient our focus to focus on what is right and the resources we have to solve what we call problems. We saturate our minds with negative thoughts that put us in a position away from the more victims of the solution, or we can choose to turn around and take charge to lead us to become protagonists of our own destination.
If we recognize that we often have a pessimistic view of events looking at life as a perennial problem and acting accordingly, but the choice is to take charge of our own lives, we can begin to build what is called a resilienciaa . This term comes from physics and refers to the ability of a material to recover its original shape even after being subjected to pressure which eventually deforming. Applied to humans, resilience is the ability of an individual or a social system to develop positively despite the adversities and even beyond, since the objective is to come out strengthened and transformed by the experience, however painful that may result.
