The tendering of the prestigious German film competition has begun Neunkirchen/Munich, 23 May 2013. Gunter Rohrbach film award goes to the next round: in appreciation of the contribution of the cinema originating in Neunkirchen, and TV producers Gunter Rohrbach and national culture promoting of German-language films the Neunkirchen district gives the award endowed with 10,000 euro 2013 for the third time. All German-speaking cinema or TV movies with a length of at least 80 minutes, which in terms of content deal with the topic of world of work and society can take part in the prestigious competition. Deadline for registration is July 29, 2013 for the films. An independent Panel selects eight films from the submitted contributions presented by a five-member jury of film professionals. Fixed members this year are again Neunkirchens Mayor Jurgen Fried, a representative of each of the Saarlandischer Rundfunk and the Saarbrucker Zeitung, as well as an active member of the current Film and television landscape, which takes over the Presidency of the jury.
